| Throughout your life, you make many mistakes. Depending on the type of person you are, you might regret some of the mistakes that you've made throughout your life. Did you know that the mistakes you make help you grow and teach you some of life's greatest lessons? Also, don't regret the past you have and don't lie about it either. I don't lie about my past and I don't know anyone who has but I hope no one does because you don't gain anything. Just like you don't gain anything by lying to people about you are. "I would rather be hated for who I am then be liked for who I am not". If you think about it, true friends will love you no matter what you look/act like. Have you ever noticed that no matter how many times you screw up, your friends are still there for you no matter what? I know how some of you might be afraid to mess up because maybe you've made so many mistakes and you're wondering if that friend will eventually just call it quits. How do I know? I've been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. It's not fun and in my opinion, it hurts the friendship. If you constantly fear loosing that friend then your focus isn't on them but more of yourself. It's not like you want it to be that way, you can't help it because you care about that person a lot and you value their friendship. If you are having this kind of fear, talk to your friend about it. A true friend will listen to you and not judge you or get mad at you for voicing your opinion. Do not be afraid to let your friend know how you feel about some things. For example, if they say/do something that hurts your feelings then don't be afraid to tell them. This might sound odd to some of you but I'm going to say it anyways. Think of your life like an Egyptian pyramid. The pyramid is made up of two different types of blocks – gold and silver. The gold blocks represents all of the wonderful deeds that you've done while the silver blocks represents all of the sin that you've committed. Throughout your life, your pyramid will contain both types and the amount of each one you have varies. If you die as a Christian, a gold block appears at the top and turns the whole Pyramid to gold. The same goes for a person who dies as a sinner, the whole pyramid turns to silver. Most of the time when you hear a comparison about your life, it's compared to a painting or another type of beautiful art. I randomly thought about this one day last year and I thought I'd share it with people. Like I said, it might sound odd to you but that's okay. It never hurts too look at something from a different point of view because that can help you learn something new. Another thing, sometimes learning something new everyday keeps life interesting. You learn a new task and then you master it but what then? That task becomes boring and if you don't learn anything new then nothing exciting happens. So then you learn new things to help keep life interesting. This doesn't play a huge role in your interesting and happy life but it does help some. Whenever a situation presents itself, ask yourself "why" and then you will get a series of questions after it. I used to do that all of the time but sometime ago I stopped and I really enjoyed it. You can question things like "why did Garrett Augustus Morgan invent the traffic light?" or "Why did Bill Gates start Microsoft?" If something interests you and you start asking questions about it then look it up. What is it that you have to be afraid of, becoming smarter then you already is? Amaze your friends and family with any of your newfound information and expand your horizons by asking questions. You won't get hurt from asking questions as long as you avoid asking the government questions regarding secret information that they may have. We all have worries in our lives, especially with school and jobs. The types of things people worry about are getting to school/work on time, doing homework (includes studying), getting a certain task done, etc. "Worry is debt paid on trouble before it's due". Everyone worries about something, including me, but I've learned one thing about it. Whenever I worry about something, being on time for work, I get there early and realize that I had nothing to worry about in the first place. Then I feel silly for freaking out about it in the first place. If you start to worry about something, just put your faith in God and let Him take over. Everything will work out just fine if your faith is put into the right hands. I know it's hard not to worry about things sometimes but if you just tell yourself that everything will be okay and that God will take care of it then you will feel a lot better. Also, you will be more relaxed once you get to the desired location and when you are doing the task which will allow you to think clearly. Okay so I think that's enough stuff for you guys to think about or maybe even try. It never hurts to try something new. I hope you guys have a great day/week and I will probably update sometime this week, again. Love you guys & see you later! Love ya'll ~*~ Hil |
